So I haven't made the same amount of progress that I might have wanted to in web development. That doesn't mean I'm not interested in it. I'm going to need to set my Netflix account to the side for a little while so I can focus on web development training. I do enjoy watching movies and TV shows.
I have been reading through Murach's HTML, XHTML, and CSS to get some of the basics down. I've been through 5 chapters so far and feel that I have a decent grasp of style sheets now. I think this just gives me a basic understanding because until you do this more it's not as easy. I view it kind of like football players. Until they mature and do it enough they think to much instead of just reacting and knowing exactly what to do.
For a little bit of a changeup and because I love their books, I started reading Head First Ajax today. Ajax is rampant right now and I know I'm starting to get behind on this. I'm just on the first chapter but already the book is looking to be exciting.
